What the role involves

• Own the Group's consolidated financial reporting function, ensuring compliance with IFRS and the integrity of financial statements.
• Leading the development and governance of the Group's technical accounting framework, driving consistency across multiple jurisdictions.
• Provide technical accounting expertise on complex transactions, new business initiatives, and evolving regulatory requirements.
• Partner closely with Finance, Risk, Legal, Tax, and senior business stakeholders on accounting and reporting matters.
• Leading the preparation of annual and interim financial statements, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external reporting standards.
• Overseeing month-end and quarter-end close processes, maintaining a strong controls environment and high-quality reporting standards globally.

Skills and requirements

• 15+ years of experience across technical accounting, financial reporting, accounting advisory, audit, or controllership functions.
• Strong expertise in IFRS, financial instruments, and fair value accounting.
• Excellent technical judgement combined with a pragmatic, commercial mindset.
• Proven track record working with senior executives, board-level stakeholders, and external auditors.
