What the role involves
- Own the Group's consolidated financial reporting function, ensuring compliance with IFRS and the integrity of financial statements.
- Leading the development and governance of the Group's technical accounting framework, driving consistency across multiple jurisdictions.
- Provide technical accounting expertise on complex transactions, new business initiatives, and evolving regulatory requirements.
- Partner closely with Finance, Risk, Legal, Tax, and senior business stakeholders on accounting and reporting matters.
- Leading the preparation of annual and interim financial statements, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external reporting standards.
- Overseeing month-end and quarter-end close processes, maintaining a strong controls environment and high-quality reporting standards globally.
Skills and requirements
- 15+ years of experience across technical accounting, financial reporting, accounting advisory, audit, or controllership functions.
- Strong expertise in IFRS, financial instruments, and fair value accounting.
- Excellent technical judgement combined with a pragmatic, commercial mindset.
- Proven track record working with senior executives, board-level stakeholders, and external auditors.
